A Local's Guide to the Perfect Grab-and-Go Beach Lunch on Hilton Head Island
If you're spending the day at the beach on Hilton Head Island, here's one local tip that can save you time, money, and a whole lot of hungry complaints:
Don't wait until you're already on the sand to figure out lunch.
Every summer, visitors pack coolers, load up beach carts, and head out for a day of sun, only to realize a few hours later that everyone is starving. Suddenly you're leaving your beach spot, standing in long lines, and trying to coordinate lunch for the whole family.
Locals know there's a better way. The secret? Grab lunch before you hit the beach.
What Makes a Great Beach Lunch? The best beach lunches are simple:
Easy to carry & easier to eat
Fresh and filling
No utensils required
Tastes just as good at the beach as it does when you order it
That's why sandwiches, wraps, fresh fruit, chips, and cold drinks are beach-day staples for so many Hilton Head locals.
Our Favorite Beach Lunch Picks:
The Turk Avo Club: Turkey, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle aioli.
The Uncle Leo/Italian: Loaded with ham, turkey, Genoa salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, mayo, and oil & vinegar. Big enough to share—or keep all to yourself.
Chicken Caesar Wrap: Light, fresh, and perfect for hot summer days. A favorite healthy, light lunch
Chopped BLT: A cult favorite featuring bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and herbed cream cheese.
Fresh Fruit Cups: A refreshing beach snack that helps balance out all those vacation treats.
Bagel Chips: Crunchy, shareable, and easy to toss into your beach bag.
Black & White Cookies: Pro tip - eat them first before the sun beats you to it
Best Beaches for a Picnic Lunch: No matter where you're spending the day, a grab-and-go lunch makes things easier. Popular Hilton Head beaches include:
Coligny Beach, Sea Pines Beach Club, Palmetto Dunes Beach, Folly Field Beach, Driessen Beach Park, Islanders Beach Park
The best part about a grab-and-go lunch? You spend less time waiting and more time enjoying Hilton Head Island. Order Ahead and Spend More Time at the Beach
Order ahead, swing by on your way to the beach, and enjoy fresh sandwiches, wraps, bagels, coffee, and snacks without missing a minute of vacation.
Whether you're a local heading out for a quick afternoon on the water or a visitor enjoying a week on Hilton Head Island, a little planning goes a long way. We'll take care of lunch. You enjoy the beach.

Why Our Organic Iced Coffee Has Become a Lowcountry Favorite
A great bagel deserves a great cup of coffee. At nosh NY bagels, we're serious about both.
That's why we proudly serve organic coffee sourced from Savannah Coffee Roasters, a locally owned roaster just down the road in Savannah, Georgia. Their commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional flavor aligns perfectly with our mission to serve fresh, high-quality food and drinks every day.
Whether you're grabbing breakfast before work, fueling up for a beach day on Hilton Head Island, or stopping in for lunch, our organic iced coffee is one of the most popular items on the menu—and for good reason.
Locally Roasted. Freshly Brewed. We believe local partnerships matter.
By working with Savannah Coffee Roasters, we're able to offer coffee that's roasted close to home and delivered fresh. Every batch is carefully crafted to create a smooth, balanced flavor that's bold enough to wake you up without being overly bitter.
The result is an iced coffee that's refreshing, easy to drink, and the perfect companion to a fresh New York bagel.
What Makes Organic Coffee Different? Many coffee lovers appreciate organic coffee because it's grown without synthetic pesticides and with a focus on sustainable farming practices.
For us, it comes down to quality. Our organic iced coffee delivers a clean, smooth taste that lets the natural flavors of the coffee shine through.
Not sure what to order with your iced coffee? Some of our favorite pairings include:
The OG (or a BEC) breakfast sandwich
A toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese
The Avocado Smash
A blueberry muffin or a slice of crumb cake
Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast near Hilton Head Island or a morning coffee stop in Bluffton, there's no wrong choice.
One of the reasons our iced coffee is so popular is simple: it's made for the Lowcountry lifestyle. Grab one on your way to: Coligny Beach, Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, a morning bike ride, the golf course, the office or a weekend road trip
Our guests love having a cold, refreshing coffee in hand before heading out to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
When you visit nosh NY bagels, you're supporting more than one local business. You're supporting a local bagel shop, a local coffee roaster, and the community that makes the Lowcountry such a special place to live and visit.
We're proud to serve authentic New York bagels alongside locally roasted organic coffee, creating a breakfast experience that brings together the best of New York tradition and Southern hospitality.
If you're searching for organic coffee in Bluffton, iced coffee near Hilton Head Island, or a local coffee shop serving fresh breakfast and lunch, we'd love to welcome you in.

Bringing Authentic New York Bagels to Hilton Head Island
It's official: nosh NY bagels has arrived on Hilton Head Island.
What started as a dream—and a craving for a truly authentic New York bagel—has grown into something we never could have imagined. After an incredible first year serving the Bluffton, Ridgeland, and Okatie communities, we're thrilled to open our second location in Hilton Head Island at the Village at Wexford South Village.
For us, this isn't just another store. It's the next chapter of the nosh story.
When we opened our first location, our goal was simple: bring the authentic New York bagels we grew up eating to the Lowcountry. The response from the community exceeded every expectation. From early-morning coffee runs and breakfast sandwiches to lunch meetings and catering orders, the support has been overwhelming.
As we listened to our customers, one request came up again and again:
"When are you coming to Hilton Head?"
Today, we're excited to finally say: we're here.
Our Hilton Head Island location serves the same authentic New York-style bagels, fresh cream cheese spreads, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, coffee, lox, salads, wraps, muffins, babka, and bakery favorites that guests have come to love at our original location.
Whether you're fueling up before a beach day, grabbing breakfast before a bike ride, picking up lunch for the family, or ordering catering for a meeting or event, nosh makes it easy to enjoy fresh, made-to-order food seven days a week.
Located in the Village at Wexford South Village, we're conveniently located for guests staying in Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard, Shelter Cove, Coligny, and throughout Hilton Head Island.
We're especially excited to become part of the island's daily routine. We know that vacation mornings deserve great bagels. Beach days deserve easy grab-and-go breakfast. Office meetings deserve better catering. And locals deserve a neighborhood spot they can count on for fresh coffee and authentic New York flavors.
Opening a second location has been both exciting and humbling. Behind every bagel is a team of hardworking people who believed in this vision. We're incredibly grateful to our employees, families, partners, and customers who helped make this expansion possible.
Most importantly, we're grateful to you.
Whether you've been with us since day one in Ridgeland or you're discovering nosh for the very first time on Hilton Head Island, thank you for supporting local businesses and allowing us to share a little piece of New York with the Lowcountry.
We can't wait to serve you.
Stop by, grab a bagel, and say hello.
We'll have the coffee ready.

One Year of Bagels, Community & Gratitude: Celebrating nosh NY bagels' First Birthday
One year ago, we opened the doors to nosh NY bagels in Ridgeland with a simple goal: bring authentic New York bagels to the Lowcountry.
As former New Jersey residents, we missed the bagels we grew up with—the crispy crust, chewy center, fresh cream cheese, stacked breakfast sandwiches, and that feeling of starting the day with something made right. We quickly learned we weren't alone. Everywhere we went around Bluffton, Ridgeland, and Okatie, we met people searching for a true New York-style bagel.
So we took a leap of faith.
Today, as we celebrate our first birthday, we're overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support we've received from our community.
Over the past year, we've served thousands of bagels, gallons of coffee, breakfast sandwiches, lunch platters, catering orders, and sweet treats. We've welcomed locals, visitors, construction crews, teachers, first responders, golf groups, families, and fellow Northeast transplants through our doors. Many of you started as customers and quickly became friends.
We've celebrated milestones with you, catered office meetings and school events, helped fuel beach vacations and golf outings, and watched countless friendships and conversations happen over coffee and bagels.
What started as a small bagel shop has grown into something much bigger—a community gathering place.
This past year has brought plenty of memorable moments. We were honored to receive recognition in local "Best Of" awards, expand our catering program throughout Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, and most recently open our second location in Hilton Head Island. None of it would have been possible without the support of our guests, employees, family, and community partners.
To our incredible team: thank you for showing up early, working hard, and treating every guest like family.
To our loyal customers: thank you for giving us a chance, spreading the word, bringing your friends, posting reviews, and making nosh part of your daily routine.
And to everyone who has ever stopped in for a bagel, coffee, breakfast, lunch, or catering order—thank you for helping make our first year such a success.
We're just getting started.
As we look ahead, we're excited to continue serving authentic New York bagels, breakfast, lunch, coffee, and catering throughout Ridgeland, Bluffton, Okatie, Hilton Head Island, and the surrounding Lowcountry.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for an incredible first year.
Here's to many more bagels, many more memories, and many more mornings together.
